Firstly, we hope that everyone is keeping safe and well during the flood crisis Brisbane has experienced over the past week.
We are happy to announce that Pro Dive Brisbane will not be teaching open water courses in the basement as we are one of the lucky few businesses in Milton that narrowly avoided the flood waters. Click here to see how close.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the consideration and support you have shown over the past few days. We have been overwhelmed with people offering to help out in the clean up but thankfully, we will not require one. It is incredible to see the human spirit shine during this period.
We are happy to report that as of 9am the morning of the 15th January 2011, Pro Dive Brisbane re-opened for business as usual. Our boat operators have now been out to Cook Island and Stradbroke Island and report that neither have been affected by the floods. The top end of Moreton Island is completely unaffected and Flinders Reef has great visibility and perfect conditions. Tangalooma Bay is feeling the effects at the moment but is expected to be clearing over the next two weeks.
If there is anything that we can help you with at all during this flood crisis, please let us know.
-- Mark, Dale, Eirin, Miguel, Guy and The Pro Dive Team.
